..I don't there is a chance Trump will walk back his tariffs in any meaningful way...no matter what diplomacy or meetings countries can have with him, case in question Carney's visit. Walking back from tariffs would be deemed a failure which is unacceptable. If there any further indication that tariffs would escalate rather than de-escalate, the 100% tariff on films is a case in point. There may be more to be announced.
