Hey, Mikie, don't let your panties get so bunched up. This LA thing isn't an "invasion" and the J-6 wasn't an "insurrection". Both were just partisan political theater designed to mobilize superficial social media trolls, among others (and if the shoe fits wear it).
Senator Rand Paul---a true libertarian conservative---has been right about this stuff all along. The cure is vehement Federalism----the decentralization and dispersion of government power as far and wide as possible.
So in the current instance: If there are criminal illegal aliens on the streets of LA, let LA and Calif state law enforcement handle it. And if that results in unnecessary danger to the public, let the public get off the couch and out of the shopping malls for a minute or two and elect mayors, governors and legislators who will do the job of maintaining law and order

Again, if you want a free Republic like the founders intended and the American people benefited from for more than two centuries, keep the police function completely at the local level, where people can vote the criminal coddlers out or overly exuberant authoritarians out, too, as the case may be. Or vote with their feet if they are so inclined.
But the last thing we need in this country is mass ICE raids on local neighborhoods and work place and bringing in the national guard as a form of POLITICAL THEATER---this time by the man who likes ALL CAPS. Weaponized law enforcement from Washington is an inherent evil whether conducted by the Left or the Right. The anti-immigrant thugs like Stephen Miller and Tom Homan are just as reprehensible as Biden's Open Borders ideologues.
