Israel’s defence minister has announced a “special situation” after multiple explosions were heard northeast of Tehran early on Friday local time.
Axois has reported that the Israeli Air Force conducted a strike on Iran, citing two sources with knowledge of events.
State television in Iran acknowledged the blast.
There was no immediate word on what was struck.
US officials said they had no involvement or assistance in the strike.
