    ..it has reached a time or period when large gains on Wall St have had no effect on our ASX.

    ..who would have thought that a +404pt Dow gain as well as +0.8% S&P500 gain had resulted in -0.43% drop on ASX
    ..and our XGD closed -1.08% lower despite GDX and GDXJ gains of +1.35% and +1.45% respectively.

    ..appears to be instos dumping bank stocks with CBA off a notable -2.46% on no news and perhaps switching to miners as BHP gained +4.18% Rio +4.59%

    ..there appears to be a decoupling between the performance of US market and Asian markets including our ASX. This has made it a lot harder to anticipate market direction.


    ..its a shame that the market Melt-up favouring techs is doing no favours for Gold, AUD and gold stocks, and it was just a week or two ago that we were all set to revisit $3,500, now struggling to stay above $3,300.

    ..there is only one word to describe the market in its entirety : BLINDSIDING!
