Look at German DAX since end of Oct it has gained 13pc and another that has outperformed S&P500 similar to ASX , WHY? See my Sat morning post outlining our recent relative out performance against S&P500.
Because like ASX, DAX is primarily industrial based shares , value not tech and there is that rotation now to value due to the vaccine narrative. So it is not useful looking at the US in determining short term direction for ASX and European markets.
On Friday VUL received a boost on DAX , listed as 6KO in Frankfurt. Watch prospect of VUL recovering on Monday towards its recent high again. VUL is likely to benefit from double positive feedback loop from itsbdual listing on SSX as well as DAX.
