Been a tough day for gold stocks, I dont remember a day that saw a 7% plunge in XGD , probably when gold came down from its all time high and the March plunge. And I did caution you two weeks ago, and again last night in no uncertain times, because breaking US$1830 , now at US$1822 means we're likely to test $1800 tonight. And AUD Gold broke the all important A$2557 to close below A$2500 possibly enroute to A$2400. Maybe within the next 1-2 weeks, we'll see some great bargain bin opportunities.

But it has been a great day for Battery Metals , EMN being the flag carrier, notched an incredible 320% since it was featured in this thread just 2 months ago. And I did say it will get to 66c, at least, and its almost there.

Over the past 2 weeks, I have been re-deploying from gold stocks to AGS with equities allocation remaining roughly the same. And I suggested this while I was progressing with it. Trump's almost concession this morning suggest he is unlikely to pull any terrible stunts the markets won't like and with less uncertainty, gold caved in. And as I expressed last night, gold needs a large stimulus shot and that's not coming and you can thank Rep Mitch McConnell for it. But in a month and a bit, the Georgia senate election would be all defining - and there's every great chance that Perdue and Loeffler would both lose and the Dems win the Senate. Then big stimulus here it comes. That said, you can bet Reps wont go down fighting to retain the Senate so it would be very close and one I am yet to make a final call.

In the meantime, every capital ought to be deployed in winning sectors and Battery Metals and AGS are IMO sure great places to be in.
