Long time readers of this thread would have heard me say
Dog stocks will show you more fleas with time.
Cut dog stock early to redeploy in other profitable trades and you may be spared more losses while gain more by redeploying in other profitable trades.
Example, if you are sitting on a 30pc loss on a loss cause Dog stock , you could end up losing another 40pc holding for another say 2 years, if you began with $100k and now at $70k and in 2 years it becomes just $42k, but if you redeploy that $70k after cutting losses and say you are able to be wiser and make just 20pc over that 2 year timeframe, you could end up with $84k instead , ending with a $16k loss as opposed to $58k loss. That is a significant $42k difference on $100k capital.
