I don’t think Victoria should be put up as a poster child of how best to manage COVID outbreaks. NSW have shown itself to be superior based on previous management than most states. I’d certainly give them benefit of the doubt at this point and back it’s continued ability to manage outbreaks with minimum possible disruption, showing proportionality... Something Victoria hasn’t shown to be frank..

Poster child not , but masking up before it becomes a mandate is only appropriate given how infectious the new variant is, you just need to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
