With record 239 cases in NSW today , it appears that the state is starting to lose control …and finally the 5km rule is imposed and stricter rules on masking being introduce BUT these new rules only apply to the 8 LGAs of concern …WHY ONLY THOSE 8 ? This one rule only for LGAs of concern isn’t going to work …in NSW we are not in this together , you won’t get the message resonate across because they feel they’re being picked on.
The one single folly in pandemic management is to believe that every state or nation can deal with the virus in different ways and can come out with a better outcome that those that have been proven and tested. It is after all the same virus and the virus does not discriminate in any same or form.
Poor implemented lockdowns are just as good as poorly worn masks. They only feed those who are anti lockdowns and anti masking that they do not work. If you have the tools but you use them wrongly you cannot blame the tools, you can only blame yourself for not learning how to use them correctly and effectively.
