I think sometimes ithere's over analysis going on in the media. All sorts of experts saying this and that, when really it's just two main factors that are rattling the markets on Wall Street. The Fed and the Trade War
Trump is just playing a game. Torture China and subsequently rattle financial markets - do this until the Fed drop interest rates. Then play nice (or nicer atleast) with China. The risk being that the Fed won't relent to Trumps pressure no matter how much the markets are rattled in the short term, and then it will become a long term problem
The global economy is slowing but is it really that bad? In certain countries yes but the media always tend to pick out countries to suit their doom and gloom rhetoric. Even back home in Oz this reporting season isn't too bad. A bit hit and miss but hardly earth shattering
