..these are great charts to show two periods of time in stock market history on how Gold stacked up against SPX (S&P500).
..the biggest rise in Gold occurs after the stock market crash (as I have been telling you so often)
..so I keep repeating that gold equities stand to fall alongside equities in that eventual crash, Gold could fall in tandem but in smaller magnitude but quickly recovers soon after, which is when its rise marks the beginning of a super bull and gold equities at that point will outperform too.
..so a possibility is that we first get a melt-up in both SPX and Gold as we have now, when recession sets in with a systemic event, perhaps next year, we get a crash that takes gold equities down with it, then by 2H 25, we may see Gold and shortly thereafter gold equities taking off.
..avoid getting hurt in gold equities meltdown first if you are the Buy and Hold type. Gold equities are not safe havens.
