    ....the narrative is slowly changing to "we must accept" that we can't get to zero COVID, and that we must live with the virus.

    Living with the Virus is not even a policy. It is a default outcome when we messed up so badly that we've gone beyond having any other choices (except accepting that they will be many case, more hospitalisations and deaths).





    You have to look at neighbouring countries in Indonesia/ Malaysia/Vietnam to understand what living with the virus is like. Cases have gone so high that 1) the Govt no longer bothers to contact trace  2) if you got COVID, you aren't monitored, get well yourself and isolate on your own (no one will knock on your door to check on you) if they even do 3) few PCR test because either they have to pay for it or they use rapid antigen test  and 4) if you start getting really sick, call the ambulance and hope they get there on time.

    And we want to live with the virus? That the chorus of failed politicians who failed the people and wanting a cop out.

    Understand how lucky we are. PCR tests are free. Contact tracers doing a great job as do our health workers. But politicians are making it tougher for them to keep pace.
