It tells me there's no conviction yet on precious metals on ASX. You just look at the most popular HC forums, and its nothing on Gold, Silver, but still on lithium.

In markets, one has to ditch the loyalty mentality. Gold bugs are sold on gold in bull and bear times. Likewise lithium bugs the same. But instead, we have to move with the sector that has found new love. Leave the sector in winter to participate in the sector where the sun shines.

Sometimes it is just a window of opportunity, when the markets come crashing down, everything will fall, including precious metals, except that they often have a great afterlife in the aftermath of the crisis.

I agree. I think this is shaping up very much like the 70s with rising oil and inflation flaring up plus Central banks will buy more & more gold
