I dont think we will be trading till Monday. The announcement about a likely flat second haf profit probably out tomorrow but as the takeover from TPG is only in informal talks they will not be able to announce a takoever offer. They may wait to Monday to address the news which is all over the papers (great publicity) and formally announce there have been informal offer dependent on finance. Regardless, on rumor alone, the SP should see well over $2 on open and more than likely closer to $3, thanks to both shorters covering their positions and to punters trying to buy in less than $3 in readiness for a formal takeover bid.
