Some thoughts on a lazy Monday.

My lazy Monday holiday is not going to plan. Both footy and soccer teams have be totally thrashed. Never thought we would have beaten Germany but was hoping at worst for a respectable loss at least something that didn't totally rob our players confidence to move on. But in sport never say die I guess, and yes I was up watching it. Thank god for this bottle of great port today :-)

PNA get a mention in the Eureka Report. late last week very positive I say.

But its nothing that I and others have not talked about on the PNA forum of late. more to the point nothing we don't already know. So its just regurgitating truth so to speak.

In brief.
It names five obvious merger candidates to merge, mainly in the gold business. with each company receiving a small paragraph.

IMO everything that matters affect share prices so this is worth a lot of thought
Why haven't the journos picked up on this - if the resources belong to all Australians as ruddy Kevin said why then is WA getting ...."He also flagged a sweetener for the state - it will get one-third of what will now be a $6 billion infrastructure fund financed from the RSPT."
if these resources belong to all of us (and not the individual States) then why would WA, one of the less populous States, be entitled to more than their fair share of the RsPT? And I think we can assume that their will be another little sweetener on the table for Qld when he concludes his visit there.
Come on Kevin baby - if the resources belong to each and every australian then make sure you distribute the funds equally

I'll answer you here as I don't like posting on other boards I don't own stock in to often. Thanks for your kind words, many would disagree with you but that's life lol. I'll elaborate a touch more as its not a market day. If I have to agree with anyone I don't feel is right, or not be able to question/debate a written post then the price becomes to high, and my integrity to myself flies out the window. For that reason the thumbing of posts is totally flawed, because it simply builds up groupies. People don't have to take my word for how flawed it is, all they have to do is see how many post add absolutely nothing and count how many thumbs some get(I counted 12 once all because a poster said thumb me up. Not long ago someone emailed me. "wouldn't have a clue about what all the symbols thumbs cups, stars, etc represent. It certainly doesn't make me want to read their posts any more than posters without symbols I read posts hoping to find an insight into something that I might not have considered or that has some humour in it"

About nails it I think.
