    Silly Moon, take out the electricity prices if you like,take a look at water;

    Mr Kelly said the Government had raised water prices by more than the rate of inflation every year since being elected in 2008.

    Mr Kelly said the problem would worsen as water prices were set to rise another 16 per cent over the next three years.
    "From the first of July this year, there will be a 4.5 per cent increase," he said.
    "And then two increases of 6 per cent in the following two years.

    "At a time when inflation is below 2 per cent, to be increasing water prices at that rate is simply not justifiable especially as the Water Corporation is making record profits."

    The above proves the CPI ,is not the complete story vis-vis inflation in this country.

    Mind you Moon ,your not alone theres plenty on your side who are bereft of any idea regarding economics.
