Qantas boss Alan Joyce has issued a scathing assessment of Western Australia's border reopening delay, saying the state is "starting to look like North Korea".
Qantas boss Alan Joyce has launched a blistering attack on Western Australia after Premier Mark McGowan delayed bringing down the state's hard border indefinitely.
Mr Joyce on Friday said the closed-off state was "starting to look like North Korea" and every Australian should be "outraged" by Mr McGowan's decision to keep Western Australia as the only jurisdiction in the country with strict border measures.
Western Australia was due to reopen to the rest of the nation on Saturday under plans unveiled by Mr McGowan in December to align with the state hitting the 90 per cent double dose vaccination milestone.
