Ultimately, with the backing of the Government, the Davey property would be compulsorily acquired. Thats the way it works otherwise, no dams, no roads, , nothing would happen, n civilised society.
If they are smart they negotiate the sale at a higher premium than the value attributed to it by the Valuer general ( or SA equiv) otherwise they will be offered aforementioned value, when the Government is involved.
This is not enough to stop a BFS being delivered, are other ineptitudes are in place.....
