because it's not about oil smerf.if anything the middle east are going to be increasingly desperate sellers as capitalist car companies and individuals do exatly as you suggest.hydrogen cars etc are going to brake some middle east countries if they don't get their act together. the hope is,if iraq can get it's act together in a democracy, they could help lead the middle east out of the dark ages just in time.
