Pie in the sky if anyone actually believes this. You have 20 years of renewables in the grid to see that the more there are the higher costs are. If they artificially inflate the cost of gas/coal all you'll end up with is being told that you've "saved" 275 when everyones bills are $700 more (renewables always cost more) instead of $450 and thus a "saving". Power prices aren't scheduled to rise 56% because of any shortages of baseload, it's all from moving renewable to a more costly and inefficient method that doesn't and never will produce on demand, so it's already a worse solution.
