TheCapatilist, tell us how it has anything to do with communism? You can't because it hasnt. It is disincentivising the ownership of multiple properties, simple which really isn't a problem as you can only live in 1 property anyway at any one time. The investor doesn't lose out as they get a bunch of money when they sell their investment property and can invest it elsewhere. It would only be communism if we took the proceeds of sale and distributed it to the poor, we can do that if u prefer
