The timing of your post was remarkable for me. Only this morning I had this discussion with a couple of young nephews, good secure jobs and salaries lamenting their inability to get into the housing market.

...long story short...I opened up on our own negative gearing/investment strategies and our reason for selling everything up many many years ago...two words... intergenerational theft...no argument or explanation no matter how you spin it can be made and subsequent generations already see it as it is, exploitation and theft...
