I have sent my complaint to ASIC.
Regardless of price, negotiating power or lack of, whether the project is in the jungle or the Pilbara desert, the Chinese-affiliated management can not do this to shareholders without at least questioning what is going on.
Remeber that management is separate to ownership, and remember the rules that are supposed to be administered by ASIC, ASX.
Management have many options, obligations, and protections to be able to run the company, but this is abuse of their position.
