I agree 100%. Having that supportive cornerstone investor (takeover defense) and driver to production would have meant that anyone wanting to become involved in Mbalam and Nabeba would have needed to enter into a JV/Off-take agreement. A takeover/Scheme of Arrangement wouldn't have been an option. However, that boat has long sailed, surely investors need to be able to identify this and alter their expectations accordingly? You can't make a round peg fit a square hole, no matter how hard you try or how much you want it to.
