Please , give us all a break regarding the 'boom is bust' !! I'm very blessed to have had a thirty year career in aviation. I spent my first years in aviation flying geologists around the Kimberly region, dropping them off in the middle of nowhere and picking them up several days later. When I picked them up they had bags full of busted rock and the like with big smiles on their faces ..... paid little attention to that then, but in hindsight !! Argyle Diamonds ring a bell in anyone's ears ?? Did the same trips way to the south of Fitzroy Crossing in WA, different geologists ..... same smiles.

Point being, I regularly fly over the mining areas of WA at 35000 feet (yep, got the dream job flying for the 'flying wallaby') and the holes in the ground are unbelievable. There is mine after mine after mine . The 'flying wallaby' has spent a massive amount of money developing Perth as a main base and has contracts for years to come servicing 'Christmas Creek' etc .

'Boom over, be buggered it is ....'
