I doubt it would be professional for CYP to give updates on a negotiation which is IN PROGRESS. Essentially shareholders bought into management as part of the CYP investment. Therefore there is a "trust" factor based on management skill to get the best deal.
I would seriously consider selling if management felt compelled to smooth the worried brows of a few shareholders crying for an update. The "update crowd" only has their impatience in mind, supported by their uninformed biases, and expressed by their pointless whinging. Think CYP, think future (only applicable to those whose attention span read this far).
