Very true. Although it will be interesting to see what the Directors do. If SH don't take up the offer (which based on current SP is unlikely), the Directors will almost certainly take up their entitlements (as is usually the case. It just sends the right message to the market). They will then have the ability to place the remaining shares to themselves (again - sends a great message) or to another party. So if they are planning on placing the shares to themselves to mitigate the dilutionary impact of the CR on their own very significant holdings, then they won't give two Fs about the currently poor SP and may decide not to release news until after the SPP closes.
