there will always be people dramatising what they imagine is the universe. It is fundamentally impossible to have a big bang origin of the universe because you cannot create everything from absolutely nothing. You cannot have an expanding universe either because what is it expanding into ..... itself?
Likewise there are NO such things as awful black holes because the universe is not entirely and absolutely symmetrical. If that were the case then such a universe would be completely empty. But collapsing bodies under intense pressure will spin and hence spin and spiral out their contents redistributing matter elsewhere. Even now NASA is coming round to the fact that these so called "black holes" are neither holes nor black. Hawking now says much the same although he hasn't grasped the full picture because he still mentions a radiating redistribution. He'll get there in the end I suppose.
Nikko, if you are telling me to get a job well I'll just say that over the next day or two I'll be laying 40sqm of cyprus pine flooring. I have plenty of fun jobs to do but it doesn't prevent one having a cuppa and chatting here on HC. What's your problem, mate?
