Shorten is just compensating for his massive policy over-reach last election. Losing the UN-losable election lies totally at his feet and his failed monstrous policy agenda. Bit ironic that many of those policies now make a load of sense in a COVID economy. But meh really, labor is a side show, the main even will be how ScoMo handles the rabid right as his marketing instinct leads the party with the tide of USA politics.
