Just to point out that there has in fact been independent involvement in the resource estimates. If you read the Competent persons statement for all three reports carefully you will see that;

"information that relates to exploration results, is based on information compiled by Barry J. Goss, who is a full time employee of Ivanhoe Australia"

BUT

"information that relates to Ivanhoe Australia's mineral resource estimates, is based on information compiled by Mike Job, who is a full time employee of Quantitative Group and a Member of the Australasian Institute of
Mining and Metallurgy"
