- because we have a real problem with GHG emissions
- which cause the global average temperatures to rise
- which threatens many thousands of species and our economic survival
- cost of electricity has been climbing
- renewable energy generation is much cheaper than any other sources of electricity generation
- coal plants are closing and the energy production needs to be broadened
- new technology is cleaner than the old tech.
do you remember the 50/60s. the smog that obscured all around every city. the pollution which filled our lungs and triggered a high rise in cancer development. the fogs that caused limited visibility on the roads and caused many accidents.
it took more than 20 years to reduce that pollution. now we need to go further.
