RE: MYZone... Every device has an expiratory date, usually standards related though, I am leaning towards the view that they supply whatever they think there will be demand for with a hole in supply. I think they could also help larger manufacturers produce in the future so it is not all hostile competition.
3G+11n is moving into phones and notebooks, but it is not that simple... you do not always want to share the aerial and you can't leave the phone at work downloading/uploading when you go to lunch and you can't leave it home downloading to your play station or whatever when you go out to the shops or for the night etc, and a laptop is not very portable. My guess is they will just get smaller and faster.
