@Xman1983 just asked an interesting question on the other FLC thread!; why did the instos invest and over-commit in the recent placement. Presumably there was an investor roadshow and the question of Ivory Coast was raised. Indeed FLC and it's advisers would have known the question would be raised. Every participant in those roadshow meetings would know that failure to close the Ivory Coast deal soon would put the share price under pressure. More than that FLC would not mislead on either status or timing because that would poison relationships.
