I'm not sure whether the cycle guys are on to it.. They all seem to be good in hindsight and move their views in the rear view mirror. (Happy to be corrected on that.. pls some examples..? )
Who knows what the dealers, bankers and government co-conspirators are up to?
If you look at the day to day trading it will drive to you drink,, some of us are ok with that...
But I always check up on the weekly to get a macro view. As i would imagine whoever is in the driver seat (Govt, RBA, Banks or other) won't be calling the dealers on an hour to hour basis .
All things being equal, I would imagine (maybe wrongly?) that they would have a general medium term plan unless something goes specifically haywire on a given specific macro event.
In the meantime, the Jamies of the world let their traders go nuts in daily fluctuating market?? (make some hay (money) guys while the sun shines) (I'd love to be a fly on their wall though)
This may be a simpler way to look at it ..? (ie weekly)
(Anyone that can pick EW's or short medium term cycles in PM's is a magician in my view,, but I don't rule them out, and happy to be educated.)
