I prefer to think there's a way through without the 'cabin (bunker) in the hills' outlook. Even the great depression (in Oz) (which my mother lived through) was resolved over a few years.. Sure , she lived on oranges, in a tent, and her father travelled though the country looking for work after coming back from being a 'Rat of Tobruk' in the war..
They survived.. she actually had some nice memories. But she was the eternal optimist.. Probably a saving force.
Having a little stash or 'stack' might just help... Until then in this slow-mo train wreck there's opportunities in the market..
