I understand your concern,, and I see it wherever I go.
The fact that young folk are sleepwalking into this concerns me more..
And any mention of the realities of life gets a simple 'eye roll'. ('what would you know?')

Very few under the age of 30 get it.. (if you are, and do,, be thankful)

Because largely:

1. They haven't seen or witnessed a sharemarket crash, recession, or serious unemployment or war, so it's not in their realm of consciousness. (I've seen a few cycles)
2. They are fed a diet of 'you can have whatever you want without working for it - 'just believe'.
3. They believe they have certain rights with little responsibility or duty.
4. The media is rigged to take money from the average and give it to the big banks and corporate elites.
5. They are fed a barrage of mindless red herring social issues to disguise and distract from what these people are doing.
6. They were largely educated in a socialist environment by left leaning teachers and academics who have never worked for a living. These people follow the same ideologies that have resulted in millions of deaths over the last century, and largely create a very few wealthy individuals,, - and target practice or cannon fodder out of the rest of the community. (for an apparent 'common good')
(I generalise a little, so apologies to the few who may not fit that particular mold, but I know many who do.)
7. They'd rather play a computer game than read a reasonable newspaper or book.
8. They'd rather buy a bunch of 1's and 0's in a computer as an investment, rather than something that's been floating around as money for thousands of years..


We could go on,,,

Perhaps the next cycle is needed,, (tragically), so that this generation receives one of life's important but cruel lessons..
I'm not looking forward to witnessing it... I'm hoping to be in a position to help some of our family that does..
(irrespective of the eye-roll)
