Just thought I'd add some info regarding our Carbon Offset Project here for discussion.

I'm wondering if there will be scope for Total to become involved in our NGS REDD+ Project and maybe this is what Scott has hinted at working on in the background.

Total are already involved with another carbon offset project in Zimbabwe which has been running for around 10 years called the Kariba REDD+ project. Currently on-selling these carbon credits by adding a carbon offset cost to purchase of heating oil - link here.

And back in 2021 when they announced a partnership with some companies in Australia, they outlined in their vision statement that they plan to spend a further $100m per year to build a portfolio of carbon credit projects (link here).

Seems like a logical partner for our carbon offset project?!
