Blowing down an MDT sample chamber isn't as straight forward as it might seem. If you've collected a sample in one of the larger MRMS chambers then its a pretty straight forward process with the separator kit that comes as standard with the MDT kit. Even if they had blown down an MRMS sample all they would have been able to establishwould have been if there was any condensate with the gas. An accurate analysis of GCR isn't possible without an on site lab unit.
If the sample is in a 450cc MPSR or SPMC bottle then blowing down of same requires surface equipment that isn't supplied with the standard MDT kit.
