They aren't dry. They have residual HC's. As Tim pointed out ERC only used a fraction of the total area for their prospective resource number.
Its possible that where these HC's have migrated to, I accept they may have disappeared completely but SM believes not, may well be even bigger that the area ERC used so 20 TCF might be an understatement.
We don't know which is kinda what you are saying.....not enough info.

I doubt they would have sent for the 7 inch liner if they didn't think it would flow in commercial rates.
SM might be not very good at the market metrics but only someone who has a death wish for the company would set a well for flow testing if it was at all likely to be a below par flow test IMO.

And a company wanting a binding 3 billion dollar offtake agreement is there to embarrass itself of it didn’t flow in the next 3-4 months. It’s a given what’s coming and going all the way back above 26 cents and towards a 2-3 billion dollar valuation. Already de risked and proven and if it wasn’t the traders like Gharp selling after announcement trading the CR this would never be here. So hopefully Scott throws out an announcement this week to gap this back up and burn these manipulators
