They aren't dry. They have residual HC's. As Tim pointed out ERC only used a fraction of the total area for their prospective resource number.
Its possible that where these HC's have migrated to, I accept they may have disappeared completely but SM believes not, may well be even bigger that the area ERC used so 20 TCF might be an understatement.
We don't know which is kinda what you are saying.....not enough info.
4. “It’s going to flow commercially”
I doubt they would have sent for the 7 inch liner if they didn't think it would flow in commercial rates.
SM might be not very good at the market metrics but only someone who has a death wish for the company would set a well for flow testing if it was at all likely to be a below par flow test IMO.

Just following up on point 3 I went back and found the relevant section about Dande and PA.
SM states that they have residual HC's in every horizon they have drilled through.
