Used to get quite a few dud DSTs when I consulted to SANTOS back in the 80's and 90's. I'd often end up typing RTSTM on the DST Report. Hours spent sitting on an upturned bucket on the rig floor staring at a rubber hose sitting in a bucket of water. Sometimes thered be a competition among the roughnecks with a prize for the first person who spied a bubble in the bucket.
