Not sure what people think the govt is going to do here. Handing the asset to another party would be an odd move as they are likely going to get the free cash from more than half the project as it is under the PPSA. This is a govt that is struggling to pay its own members enough that they can stay in a decent hotel when parliament is sitting.

Your second last paragraph is why I believe a farm in will be sooner rather than later, they need this up and running fast, Invictus can not achieve this on their own drilling one, maybe two wells a Year.
