Exactly Nergel, I’m not sure the people posting this stuff have actually thought about this from all angles. The government are directly and indirectly invested in the project, they have the most to gain or lose from this. Extraction of hydrocarbons takes expertise and a significant amount of optimised data to pinpoint where and how to drill, IVZ owns this IP and has it under wraps. China, who “seem” to have a certain few nervous, have no need for this project. With Power of Siberia ramping up, Power of Siberia 2 planned, Nord Stream gas diverted to China at a heavy discount and another pipeline under negotiation with Turkmenistan, China are actually now contracted into surplus. In the past there has been an average 12% growth in China’s demand for gas but analysts are now predicting a 2% decline YoY due to the glut of supply they have secured.
