In fairness though I still don’t quite follow Scott’s comments that the valid pressure pre-tests at MK-1 indicated a significant gas column in the Pebbly Arkose as well as the Upper Angwa and I’m wondering if this could possibly be due to some communication between the MK-1 location and some net pay further updip in the PA towards the MK-2 location?

The 200psi overpressure referenced in the PA by SM was also what made me feel that the Pebbly Arkose was encouraging. But I also remember that they were never able to get a gradient, and as only 2 pre-test points could give you a gradient, it is highly likely a single data point may not fit with all the other data they have. I am speculating that the poor-quality mud in MK-1 could be compromising the data obtained todate.
