Given the problems they have encountered I'd be surprised if they had any hesitation using the 6 inch for deepening MK2 if the mud weight was going to cause issues. They have already drilled to 3900m at MK2 so will be aware of suspect areas down to that depth and if they are going to test it I imagine they will case it then perforate at the best reservoirs.
From memory the areas that are problematic from a mud weight perspective are now behind casing so shouldn't cause us any headaches.
I don't think SM would even consider it if they thought there was any danger of repeating MK1 and 2.
Given they have stated that 202 has undergone maintenance and upgrades its entirely possible that they have upgraded the drilling capacity, especially if they believe the rig might never leave Mukuyu.
