Hey OTP Nice post. I am hoping it may turn out a little differently to that. From comments made by Scott, the Cluff bid/deal was merely an opening offer in what he, even then, described as an auction process. This term -‘auction’ has now resurfaced months later. I personally am hoping a new Farm Out deal is agreed upon, with a better outcome for IVZ. The playing field has changed considerably since the initial Cluff offer and hopefully a new improved deal is agreed upon with the Saudis or one of the other parties coming to the table. Always felt the Cluff deal was sub par. We shall see very soon by the sound of things - exciting times!
