I suspect the author has his wires crossed over the cafuffle caused when the Zim president said IVZ had made a discovery in 2018.
I can't find any evidence of any O&G drilling in Zimbabwe in recent years.Excellent find.
I doubt there will be a halt as we all knew this was coming including the market.
I'm now not expecting any farm in to be announced for a while. I think the CR tells you that.
I personally believe that there is a competitive process running behind the scenes for the farm in and the CR puts them all on notice that IVZ could go it alone if need be.
I think it will get them all to sharpen their pencils, which will mean we keep more WI or pay less.
I personally would like us to keep at least 50% so farm down 30%.
I think this would be a very good outcome if we could get 2 wells freecarry or maybe even contribute a bit of cash.....maybe that is why we are paying for seismic?
