So in my understanding, one of the big factors in chance of success for this play is that there has been no drilling done in this region to confirm presence of hydrocarbons in the area.

No historical holes, no test holes like ReconAfrica did.
So if when they get into the first horizon, there's gas spurting out, will the "chance of success" of the next horizons be much higher than it is currently?

If they find gas in any of the horizons does it then change the chance of success calculations for anything below it and any subsequent holes they drill elsewhere in the basin?
