Now that I'm re-reading it, I'm thinking the first quote about August is the first well and the second quote (testing independent players) is about the second well. I think you're right. The transcript typist had a fat finger moment. For a while, I was wondering if the "beginning to drill" the second well was referring to the siteworks which need to be done pre-drilling (loose interpretation of what drilling actually means). As for the "company being more than ready to kick start the second well as all the equipment needed is on the ground" - that could make sense because Scott has said he has everything in place to progress to an appraisal well, if the first well is successful as well as the second well. Things will certainly start moving quite quickly over the rest of the year. The pieces are slowly falling into place, probably moreso than most of us appreciate.
