I don't have much time for Woodside either (they used to pay sh*t day rates) but no whales have died on the end of a harpoon fired by a gun owned by Woodside. People will tell you that seismic kills whales but I have yet to see any hard evidence of that. When I used to witness rig based seismic well shoots our biggest problem was the Blinkin' whales coming in to check out our air guns when we started firing them. Hours of time spent sitting on our hands waiting for the whales to clear off so we could resume shooting.
